Why are the two animals always so different?

Because an animal’s numbers are never just one: a lion can weigh 330 pounds or 550, and some animals live longer in zoos than in the wild. That’s why in every round one of the two weighs or measures at least two and a half times as much as the other, and lives at least three times as long: the right answer stays right even if the number shifts a little. But never more than ten times, or there would be nothing to think about.
